“Roger and Gemmal did a thorough job, indeed much more so than I believed was possible - based upon the comments of a different chimney sweep company who came around here once, but did not follow through on the job due to the weather. This other company told me that the metal contraption at the base of the chimney could not be removed, and also told me that the only thing that could be done on the roof was to remove and clean the cap. In contrast to this, Gemmal removed and cleaned the cap, and also stuffed a long brush down the chimney to clean it, and Roger completely removed the metal contraption at the base of the chimney and cleaned it from below. He also warned me about the metal nut on the contraption which had never been serviced properly. Very pleasantly surprised at what could be done. Thanks very much Mr Sweep. Ten stars. ”
